Glover Nursery on Good Day Utah: Early Spring Edition

‘Good Day Utah’ visited us here at Glover Nursery. Big Budah revealed to Ryan that he has neglected his yard for the past year and needed some advice. Some of you may be feeling the same. Never fear, Ryan shares his best tips for jumping back into the gardening game.

Whether you’re looking to add some trees and shrubs to your yard this year, a veggie garden, or just keep up your yard maintenance we love helping gardeners with every phase of the process.

Big Budah also wanted to know how your location in Utah affects what you put in your garden. Ryan told him that your location will affect what plants you can put in the garden but when it comes to fertilizer it really affects the timing more than anything else. A sure sign of spring, and that it’s time to put down your fertilizer and weed preventer, is the blooming of forsythia’s. When you see the yellow bloom of a forsythia, it’s time!
