Glover Nursery 1-Year Warranty

Eligible plants are warrantied for one year from the date of purchase when planted and watered according to Glover Nursery’s recommended protocols.

Please review the planting and watering directions and expectations before installing your plants.  Contact our Diagnostics Team with any questions or concerns.

Eligible plants are warrantieed for one year from the date of purchase for one replacement only.

Glover Nursery will issue a store credit for the amount of the original purchase to be used towards the purchase of a replacement plant.

NOTE: Plants purchased with store credit are not warrantied as they are the replacement plants for the original purchase.

This warranty policy applies to eligible plants purchased at retail price or up to 25% off. Plants purchased at 30% off or more are not eligible for this warranty.

To see if your plant is eligible for store credit, fill out our Warranty Inquiry Form and our team will get back to you shortly with a response.

How Glover Nursery Resolves a Claim

Warranty coverage is not redeemable for cash and is limited to one (1) replacement of the dead plant with the same variety and size listed on the invoice.

If the same plant variety and size aren’t available, the following applies:

  • A store credit card will be issued for the original purchase price listed on the invoice. The store credit may be used on a different size and/or variety of tree or shrub, and the customer will pay the difference.
  • Any plant purchased with the store credit card will not be eligible for any warranty, even if there is an amount due for the new item.

If the price of the plant has increased since your original purchase:

If you’re replacing with the exact same size and variety, the price increase will be absorbed by Glover Nursery. If you’re using the store credit toward a different size or variety, the customer will pay the difference.

MYKE’s Enhanced 5-Year Warranty

MYKE is an independent company that offers an extended warranty on eligible plant material when:

MYKE is purchased in a specific quantity to cover warranty requirements on eligible plants.

  • The volume of product required for warranty will be calculated by the Glover Nursery team at checkout.
  • The amount needed will vary by the size of the existing rootball at purchase.

MUST be purchased at the same time and on the same invoice as the plants eligible for warranty. It cannotbe purchased at a later date or on a separate ticket for the warranty to apply.

The duration of the warranty will be precisely 5 years from the date of purchase. Glover Nursery cannot make exceptions or offer any extensions.

This is the policy of the MYKE manufacturer. Glover Nursery cannot make changes to its policy.

This warranty policy applies to eligible plants purchased at retail price or up to 25% off. Plants purchased at 30% off or more are not eligible for this warranty.

This ensures one (1) replacement plant within five (5) years from the date of purchase.

NOTE: Plants purchased with store credit are not warrantied as they are replacement plants for the original purchase.

How does MYKE help my plants?

Mycorrhizal Fungi are symbiotic relationships that form between fungi and plants. This mutually beneficial relationship helps plant roots absorb nutrients while the fungi receive sugars and nutrients from their host plant.

Why should I use Mycorrhizae when planting?

Mycorrhizae greatly increase the absorption surface areas of roots by several hundred up to several hundred thousand times, which produces a healthier root system, and in turn a healthier plant.

How do I use MYKE correctly?

  1. Spread the appropriate amount of MYKE directly onto the root ball by size of the rootball.  The ratio needed is shown on the orange sticker on top of the container.
  2. The MYKE product must come in direct contact with the root ball after it is removed from the container. Or if the plant is balled in burlap, it can be applied to the outer surface of the burlap.

Customer Responsibilities

To be eligible for warranty, the customer must:

  • Install and water the plant according to Glover Nursery’s planting guidelines.
  • Check the recommended plant list for extremely alkaline, secondary water conditions.
  • Provide a copy of the original purchase receipt as proof of purchase
  • Must bring in the dead plant, with the rootball still attached, to be inspected by the Glover Diagnostics team to verify the plant complies with warranty conditions.*

*If the plant is too large for you to carry, the diagnostics team will discuss alternate options.

How to Claim the Warranty

First, submit a request through the Plant Diagnosis / Warranty Inquiry form

Or, if you prefer to send an email to our diagnostics team, they will need the following information:

  • A current photo of the entire plant showing it’s been planted in the ground. Please include the root flare in the photo.
  • 2 to 3 close-up photos of the trunk, branches and leaves so we can better determine why the tree or shrub is struggling or dying.
  • Description of irrigation and how often it is run during the week.
    • Example 1: drip line with 2 emitters for the plant.  Emitters put out 10 GPH (gallon per hour).  The system runs 2 times per week for 30 minutes.
    • Example 2: Handwater with a hose on a slow trickle, 2 times per week for 20 mins.
    • Example 3: Overhead sprinklers for 15 mins 4x per week).
  • What type of water are you using, and whether it is culinary or secondary water.
  • Invoice number on your receipt.

Next Steps

After the warranty has been approved by the Diagnostics team, you will need to:

  1. Dig up the tree or shrub and bring it in as physical proof of its condition. If the plant is too large to carry, the diagnostics team will discuss alternate options.
  2. Bring the receipt as proof of purchase.

The diagnostic team will issue you a store credit card for the value of the plant, to be used for the plant replacement.

Trees or shrubs purchased with the store credit will not have further warranty.
