Delivery is available with a minimum purchase of $200 of material from Glover Nursery. Delivery products can include plants, trees, shrubs, bulk, fountains, statuary, and 20+ bagged products.

Planting & Installation

 

Leave the digging to us! Glover Nursery offers shrub and tree delivery and planting near you. Our installations are available Monday – Friday and you don’t even need to be home to have the service completed. 

Installation is available with a minimum purchase of $200 of material for trees 5 gallons and larger and shrubs 7 gallons and larger.

I had the kindest man deliver my rock. With precision he avoided my driveways (Yes, I have two.) and the sidewalk (I am behind an elementary school so children flood my sidewalk.). So, a shout out to a man who takes the time to do a job well and make a customer very happy.

We contacted Glover Nurserys Landscape design dept. We talked to Jeff Hansen. He designed a landscape design for us and then promoted a landscape co. Headed by Travis Young to do the work. He planted about a dozenFlowers in our front yard. He planted the flowers in holes only dug as wide as the plant ball (should be twice as wide and left some of the plant ball sticking up 2" above the ground level. He broke two of our sprinker supply lines.He left to get the repair pieces to fix the damage and never returned.I then had Jeff Hansen come by to talk it overand he said it looked like a professional installation job. $4,000.00.

  • Protecting Your Plants: With our professional delivery service, you avoid the risk of damaging branches and foliage, which often happens when trying to fit plants into personal vehicles.
  • Convenient Placement: For heavy materials, we make it easy by placing items as close as possible to the planting area, provided it’s accessible by our team with a handcart.
  • Careful Handling: If you’ve prepared the planting hole in advance, we’ll go the extra mile by placing the tree or plant directly into the hole. This careful handling prevents the rootball from being bounced or mishandled, minimizing the risk of damage and promoting a healthier start for your new plants.

We have delivery appointments available as soon as the next business day.

DELIVERY CHARGES

 

The price of delivery is determined by the area that you live in. Deliveries that require multiple trucks / loads will be charged one delivery fee per truck.

PLANT PLACEMENT

 

Placement of items at the driver’s discretion. Delivery driver may place plant material into pre-dug holes at their discretion.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

 

There is an additional fee for:

  • Trees 1.75″ caliper and larger
  • Conifers 6′ and taller
  • 28″ & 32″ baskets
  • #35-gallon containers and larger
  • 20+ Bagged Products
  • Assembly / Installation of Prefab Fountains & Statuary

Delivery of plants together with bulk, fountains, statuary, and 20+ bagged products requires a separate bid.

We Do More than Just Digging!

Planting a tree involves several crucial steps to ensure its long-term success. Here’s why using professional tree delivery and planting services can make all the difference:

Proper Width/Depth Ratio 

Ensures optimal root growth and stability for your new tree.

Soil Enrichment

Adding organic material improves soil drainage and retains moisture. This prevents roots from drowning or drying out—necessary for all  Utah soil types.

Root Ball Stabilization

Soil is carefully backfilled using water flow to settle the roots properly. This avoids unnecessary soil compaction that could damage root structures or prevent roots from establishing properly.

Precise Placement

Trees are set centered and visually aligned to meet the customer’s specific requirements.

Safety Measures

Professionals are trained to safely navigate around irrigation systems and underground wiring during planting.

Blue Stakes Coordination

We contact Blue Stakes before every planting to ensure no damage to power or utility lines, guaranteeing a safe installation.

Root Ball Care 

We take every precaution to ensure the structure of the rootball is maintained.  We will examine and gently score the rootball, if needed, to ensure there are no girdled roots prior to planting.

Displaced Soil & Sod

Unless the homeowner would like to keep the displaced soil and/or sod, we will remove it from the job site so there is no mess to clean up.

  • Shrubs – 7 gal. and larger

INSTALLATION CHARGES

 

75% of the full retail price of plant material being installed.

Installation and Delivery Fees are separate charges.

Tree staking is not included with installation but is available for an additional charge. We use hand tools to install plant material. Some trees may require machinery and a separate bid.

INSTALLATION WARRANTY

There is a 1-year warranty on the installation of plant material. Visit our Warranty Information Policy page for the full details.

SITE PREPARATION

 

All installations are at the discretion of the crew.

We will contact Blue Stakes prior to installation.

The homeowner is responsible for marking all sprinkler lines in the installation area(s). Glover Nursery is not responsible for damage to sprinkler systems.

Soil Pep is included with installation. Other amendments may be used when purchased at Glover Nursery.

We remove sod and soil displaced from the planting site(s).

WE DO NOT

 

  • Plant within a 5′ radius of where any tree was removed.
  • Remove plant material, with the exception of warranty replacements.
