Plant Delivery

• Minimum plant purchase of $200 for delivery, plus the fee for delivery to the specific area.
• Retail deliveries - trees will be placed where customer requests at the discretion of delivery team.  Large hills, stairs, narrow gates or other impediments may limit the range of where the plants can be placed.  Shrubs and perennials will be offloaded to one area upon delivery.
• Wholesale deliveries - all plants will be offloaded in one location upon delivery.

Bulk Delivery

• Bulk products require a 3 cubic yard minimum purchase to be eligible for delivery.
• Bulk deliveries - will be dropped as close to the requested area as possible as long as the truck can safely fit.
• We are unable to deliver bulk products to the areas marked with an asterisk * in the pricing field.

Rock Delivery

• Rock deliveries are an additional $10.00 per delivery.
• Rock deliveries are off the back of the truck only and do not include placement or hand off-loading.

Boulder Delivery

• Boulders require $300 minimum purchase plus delivery fee.

Delivery prices are for one truck and one man. Deliveries that require two trucks will be charged two delivery fees. Two man deliveries may be charged additional fees. Deliveries requiring extra equipment start at $300 and will require a bid by our Delivery Manager.  7 feet of clearance is required.  Glover Nursery is not responsible for damage to sod, concrete or asphalt.

Delivery Cancellation / Restock Policy

• Changes can be made up to 72 hours prior to scheduled delivery via phone or email for no additional fees.
• Within 72 hours of scheduled delivery date, changes or cancellations will forfeit the original delivery fee.  Rescheduled deliveries will incur a new delivery fee.
• All tree cancellations will be charged a 20% restocking fee.

General Planting Information

• There is a $200 minimum purchase for any installations.
• Planting fee is 75% of the retail price of the tree or shrub unless equipment is needed to install the plant.
  • 3"caliper or larger deciduous trees and 10' or taller conifers require a bid to determine the installation price, min bid is $300.
• Installation services are not available for materials purchased with a Wholesale account.
• Tree staking is available for an additional $35.00 per tree and includes everything needed for the staking process.

Sprinkler Lines

• Sprinkler lines are difficult to predict where and at what depth they run throughout your yard. We are very careful to not damage any lines but occasionally breaks do occur. Our installers are trained on how to properly repair broken lines and we repair any lines damaged during installations.
• In the event sprinkler lines run through the planting area, the easiest solution is for the plants to be moved to either side where a proper hole can be dug. Unfortunately, we are not able to reroute existing sprinklers or any other buried lines.

Recently Removed Trees / Stump Grinding

• When an old tree is removed, the stump is usually mechanically removed by ‘grinding’. Glover Nursery highly recommends not planting trees directly where a tree was recently removed. The ‘white’ wood shavings which are leftover after a tree removal are not good for new trees because they prevent the new tree from receiving proper nutrients.
• In these circumstances the best solution is to install the tree or shrub 3 to 6 feet away from the old stump to ensure proper rooting and growth.

Hills, Steps, Walls, and Obstructions

• Our Delivery and Installation professionals are trained to properly move large trees around your property and are great at finding solutions to get the job done. However, the best way to ensure we are prepared for these situations is to have our customers inform us so we can properly plan for your installation.
• Please inform your associate of any possible obstacles between where our truck will be parked to the desired location of each product to be installed on your property.

Pets

• Please be sure that area around installation is clear of animal scat prior to the day of delivery and planting.
• Kindly keep your pet indoors or in a kennel during the installation for the safety of your pet and our team.
