Glover Nursery Annual Pumpkin Smash and Food Drive
Join us in making a difference for our local community.
Inspired by Rod Glover’s childhood memories of community-oriented shenanigans, we wanted to create an annual event that would bring families together for a smashing good time. AND, could help our fellow Utahn’s at the same time.
Save your Halloween jack-o-lantern and bring it to our check-in desk, along with a contribution to the Utah Food Bank, to join the fun at our annual Pumpkin Smash and Food Drive!
The first Saturday after Halloween, Glover Nursery hosts a fall fundraiser for the Utah Food Bank to support resources for food-insecure Utahns. One in ten families in the state regularly faces food insecurity, leaving over 100,000 neighbors without the means to afford even the barest necessities.
How To Join The Next Pumpkin Smash
Admission is a donation to the Utah Food Bank through cash, online donations, or non-perishable food items. All donations go directly to the Utah Food Bank.
While any, and every, donation is deeply appreciated, did you know that for every $1 donation made, the Utah Food Bank turns that value into $7.80 worth of goods and services? That is a huge ROI for your kindness.
As a thank you for helping us to help our community, we’ll reward you with raffle tickets based on your donation amount, with exciting prizes available for both kids and adults.
If you are donating cash to the Food Bank, you will be delighted to know Glover Nursery matches your donation (up to a total of $1000 for all donations)! This makes your impact even more powerful.
Events and food options are subject to change as we love to keep things fresh (like our inventory) each year. However, crowd favorites like pumpkin bowling and the signature pumpkin smash remain staples for family fun!

If you can’t attend but would like to support the Utah Food Bank you can donate here to help us raise at least $1,000 this year.
And remember, Glover Nursery will match all cash donations (up to a total of $1000 for all donations).
