Overpriced. Atrocious inventory management. Indifferent, condescending and disinterested customer service. Just for... fun give them a call. THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. I spent a lot of time and money trying to work with them and in the end I’ve decided I’m not supporting a business that is so self interested and hostile to its customers. You can do better elsewhere. Trust me.read more

My girlfriend and I decided as first time plant buyers to make this the first nursery we visited in our quest to find... the perfect ensemble of pet safe, shade friendly, and easy to maintain plants because of the rave reviews Glover's has (which I spent an hour reading through simply because they were pleasant to read). Rett kindly greeted us within about 2 minutes of us starting to browse the rows and rows of plants. He asked what we were looking for. We explained and he quickly pointed us to which spots of the nursery would have plants fitting our criteria. He taught us where to look to find plant information which was very helpful to us newbies. He provided wise words: to start small with our plants and to grow our garden as we became more comfortable with our green thumbs. He answered every question we had with knowledge and the occasional--and very welcomed--joke! We will always come back to Glover's after this amazing experience on our very first visit. This is my preferred nursery. There are so many people who offer tips and advice and you can return stuff and get your... money back. There are so many options of different plants too! I was looking for bushes and OMG -- so many varieties. Worth the trip across the valley to visit Glover's.read more

I love this nursery SO much. Every time I come here the staff is friendly and helpful and if they don’t know the... answer, they find someone who does. I will only purchase my plants from Glover, they absolutely thrive! And their soil is incredible! Not to mention it’s good for the soul to just walk around and take in how gorgeous this place is. Glover Nursery is our go-to spot for all our plant buying and bulk material needs. We have been going to Glover for... close to 20 years. They have an extended warranty offer when you purchase a plant/tree. If you purchase their Myke's root booster formula, you get a 5 year warranty. We always do this and it has saved our butts on more than one occasion. Their staff is very helpful and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this local business!read more

I have to give a shout out to Glover Nursery. I have done 95% of my landscape purchases there since 2011. They have a... great selection and very knowledgeable staff. They just replaced a fairly expensive spruce tree that I bought last year. It had a bug that was not helped by medication. I am very thankful for their concern. Lynn was a great help in selecting a replacement tree.read more

Best nursery in the Salt Lake valley hands down. Family owned and operated local business. The owners are there to... answer and questions and address any concerns. Stayed open as an essential business and have implemented safe social distancing. Love this place.read more

My FAVORITE Nursery! They are a bit of a drive for me but well worth it. This year I attempted to go to a few... nurseries that were closer by and was not happy with selection or organization. I made the drive to Glover and it was AWESOME as usual - EXCELLENT selection with helpful informative photo placards - Well ORGANIZED so it's easy to shop - and the STAFF is ALWAYS friendly, helpful and AMAZING! Incredible selection. A sales rep. named Lynn was incredibly helpful to me and took an hour to listen to what I wanted,... present options, and seemed very knowledgeable. He even made sure everything was loaded properly and protected from wind during transport. I appreciated this because it's such a busy time for them! Wondered around for a good hour and could not get anyone with knowledge to help us. The knowledgable sales people... stayed with the same families the entire time. When I asked again for help I was told they close in 10 minutes rather than having someone help us. Probably better to find another place more willing to help shop.read more

As a boy every Christmas for years my family would come here to pick out our Christmas tree. The way that they decorate... brings a magical feel to the entire nursery which as a child will always linger in my mind as part of the magic of Christmas. In more recent years, an easy stop off for gardening supplies, accompanies by helpful staff. Thank you Glover Nursery for being the easy choice for my outdoor needs.read more

The staff is knowledgeable and most are quite helpful. The selection here is great; however, I was really disappointed... that, after spending over $1,500 here on a Saturday, when I came to exchange the only plant out of nearly 30 that didn't fare very well (the following Monday), I was told I couldn't exchange unless it had been planted for several weeks. The staff was unwilling to compromise on the plant exchange. Poor customer service after such a large expense.read more

Glover Nursery had an incredible variety of shrubs, trees, bushes, and flowers. We picked a few things including some... nice topsoil. We are excited to see how everything turns out. Prices aren't bad either definitely not on the cheap end, pretty moderate, a few things like some trees are in the expensive side. Gave 4*s because the customer service while we were looking around or trying to look wasn't spectacular but they did finally direct us about a bit, they just couldn't answer much. But I still recommend them as one of the best places for your garden and landscaping needs.read more

Great experience for a first time plant buyer. The staff was really nice at check out and they have a HUGE selection.... The staff was also very helpful in giving tips on how to take care of my new plant. The only issue I have is price. Everything was pretty expensive. I went with my mother, who is an experienced green thumb-er, said that the plants were expensive. But overall, would recommend to friends and family to check it out.read more

Love this place! Massive selection, especially of shrubs and trees! Lovely, healthy plants in a variety of sizes and... prices. I typically buy small to save money, and my plants are all doing well a year later. Yes, they’re not the cheapest, but they’re locally-owned and the employees (and especially managers) know way more about the plants they sell than anyone at a big box store. I’ve been saved from a handful of failures thanks to their warnings and suggestions. Support local! Get good advice! Buy healthy and unique plants! Go to Glover! ❤️read more

My wife and I love this nursery. We have bought multiple trees and plants here. The staff are extremely helpful and... will take the time to educate you about how each plant flourishes, and teach you about the soil in your city. They have a wide selection of plants and landscaping products at a reasonable price. I felt secure buying trees here. We will be back every season.read more
